These pictures are of various places within Kenya. Some are from the Kibera slum in Nairobi where people get micro-finance loans for small businesses such as dress making or bone recycling into jewelry. Kids in an art therapy program were very shy when I first came, but seemed to enjoy the strange equipment and cameras I brought, and opened up with pride for me to photograph their artwork. Kenya, despite warnings, was my favorite place I visited. The people were very friendly and spoke English  - so long as they had some schooling.
